In Honor Of Our Third Being Potty Trained

I took the three oldest to Chuck E Cheese for lunch Friday. Emma has been potty trained since the beginning of summer but with our kitchen remodel we just haven't had the time to celebrate. In our family, we celebrate being potty trained (child has no accidents and mom does not have to give any reminders) with a trip to the cheese house. The kiddos LOVED it of course and we really had fun. I have to share that Emma had run out of coins early and Hope shared her last 4 rides with Emma. Maturity is a beautiful thing:) Daddy stayed home to work and Levi stayed home to sleep. I got a little carried away taking pics, but that's pretty normal.

Congratulations Emma!! Wow, Rose only 1 in diapers! What are you doing with all your extra time now? Cute pics. It looks like Owen actually likes his picture taken these days. I love his smiles.

I have SO many questions about potty training. How old were your kids when you started? I know I've got some time before Aidan is ready, but I'm really curious as to how all that works. Hooray for Emma and double-hooray for Hope for amazing sharing!! Looks like you guys had a GREAT time. I love the idea of going to Chuck E Cheeses as a reward for succeeding. Great idea.

jan, rose just sits around on the couch and eats bon-bons all day. now that she only has one left in diapers she can afford the really good bon-bons.
kameron, just get a little potty seat and stick it in the bathroom and let him figure it out when he's ready. that's all i did. oh, but it does help to have an auntie who has no children but watched an episode of dr.phil on how to potty train your child in one day to babysit for one night. really helps. he wasn't potty trained in one night but really didn't have a ton of accidents. also helps to have pergo floors.
good luck- i will pray for you.
love, becky
