Josh and Desi working hard.
This is where our washer and dryer were. The dryer door barely opened with that little wall on the left and they took up a ton of room. Now we can have a little table and two chairs for a nice seating area. We're thinking of using chalk board paint on the right wall for something fun.
Desi noticed the plaster wall would need to be re-done at the bottom. As he pulled it off, he realized how easy it came off and maybe we should just expose the brick there. I think it turned out beautifully. Thanks to Des Sr. for putting a ton of applications of sealer on the wall!
As seen in the above pic, we had hook ups for the washer/dryer here. Josh agreed to help us move them and bring the pipes to the back room. This required getting under the back porch in the crawl space....ewwwwwwwww! What a man he was! He even suffered a few bites from something, but got a lot accomplished. Thanks again Josh. That's scary under there!
