Last Monday was soooo hot and with Des and Jan coming in I thought it would be fun (and cool) to take them to Outdoor World. Micah joined us and we had such a great time exploring the gigantic store. Here are a few favorite pictures.
These little mummy style sleeping bags were on sale for $9.99. We bought 3! They are even rated to 25 degrees! The kids are going camping with our church this weekend and these will be great!
The shooting range was my favorite part. I could have spent all day here!
Micah took the next four shots. I guess guns were the theme for our visit.

Could you please remove this blog- I just don't think Tim can stand to see another post of "Uncle Micah" having fun with Desi and the kids. Yes, we've been working on the issue through therapy, but Tim's been really stressed with work and this might push him back into the severe depressive abyss of losing favorite uncle status. Please pray for us as we work through these turbulent times and thanks for considering my request.

What a deal!!!! We have a Cabela's here in Austin. It is a whole day event!
Lauren, I simply cannot quit blogging. It is my free therapy! My only thought is to bring Tim out and have him duke it out with Micah. The winner will be deemed "Best and Most Favorite Uncle to the Starr Children"

what about the hard working uncle josh who has tirelessly and with many tears (oh, too too many tears and even the snotty shiver crying) got the starr men started on each step of our kitchen project because of our cluelessness and his graciousness? what about him, father of the starr children's best friends: abby, luke and ezra.?. did anybody think of him?

of course no body thinks of him! You don't think of all the times he wakes up in the middle of the night screaming, because of your little kitchen project!
