Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all out, just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Craik

That is so cool! I can't wait to do those things with Abby!
Nice job, Hope!! I've never been good at sewing myself, though I try (I just finished a quilt this week that is actually laugh-out-loud funny). I love the bird and look forward to seeing more of them... maybe you can teach me how to sew someday.
Will u ever stop being the greatest mommy EVEH, I just dont know?!
Boy, is she channeling Nina or what?! I love it. I wanna be reborn and come back as your kid....dont tell my mom. LOL
I sure am missing you tons extra lately! I wanna come hang out with you and ur family. *SIGH*
Lets make a phone date, I do have sum stuff to tell ya. MWAH
I love it!!! AND I LOVE little birds, a bit too much! Poor troy, little birdie stuff is all over the yard. Good job sewing Hope! I don't love to sew but am so thankful I know how! It has helped me so much over the years. And good job Rose! I am thankful to my mom even now for all the things she taught me to do, Hope will thank you one day for doing the same! :)
amazing! i guess she takes after her momma!
That little project is absolutely adorable (and so is sweet Hope).
And likewise, Olivia had her first crochet lesson today. A full two years earlier than I had planned but she was truly begging me to learn. So, we learned how to start a chain, work tension over our fingers, and work a basic chain stitch (a million stitches long, lol). It's as much as I'm willing to teach her for now, as learning tension is a MUST for crochet. So I told her, "practice, practice, practice these basics for a VERY long time." She's content,...for now.
Blessings,
~Toni~
