Better Late Than Never- APC May 2007 Update

May 2007 Update:
Desi and I just celebrated our 8th anniversary on the 1st and are so blessed with all God has done in and for us these last 8 years. Desi’s parents and sister came out to enjoy a brief and amazingly free vacation in Breckenridge as well. We enjoyed swimming, cooking and just hanging out together. The following week we hosted two friends from Virginia. Richard and Thomas are ministry partners (similar to Desi and Bruce) and oversee 11 house churches in the Richmond area. We had them come out to share what God is doing in expanding His Kingdom here on earth. Our church gathered for a big BBQ and were blessed and encouraged by what these men of God shared with us. Rose celebrated her 30th birthday on Mother’s day and enjoyed spending the day with family and friends as well as a long scooter ride through the city.
Our church has been able to help a member of our church financially this month (which is such a blessing) as well as a neighbor of Carrie’s whom we are praying will come to our gatherings. We are starting a regular gathering this month as an outreach to many of the lost and out of fellowship young adults that God has brought into the lives of our people. Pray for those who are coming that God will draw them to Himself and they would grow in grace and come to know Him personally and that a simple church could be started for them if the Lord wills. We are working on plans for this summer’s outreaches and youth camp. Please pray for our little neighborhood as Desi and I have a strong desire for a house church to start up here with our neighbors.
