APC VBS Day #1

See the post below to get the gist of what we are doing this week with a fantastic youth group from Ft. Collins, CO. Yesterday went well...they washed a lot of windows in the projects and handed out as many invites for VBS as they could. There are about 30 kids and adults. Last night they heard Eddie speak about gangs in Denver. This morning they split up and went on a prayer walk in our neighborhood with Desi and a city tour with Bruce. After a great VBS today (sorry for all the pics...I couldn't pare it down), and dinner, Desi shared on Race. Tomorrow will be another full day and I'll try to post pics tomorrow night. Now, I just need to remember to water the garden! As far as our veggie garden is going (I spent $6 on seeds) I think we're gonna get everything to grow...now I just have to keep them alive! How fun!
