My mom's birthday was last Sunday. We wanted to go to the free day at the Denver Botanic Gardens but alas, it was raining. Our plan B went into action. Mom and my brother Jason came over (dad's back was out) for lunch and then we headed over to the Denver Puppet Theater. It's not far from our house, a few miles on the other side of I25. Once inside we decorated our "tickets" which were little paper puppets and played with the numerous puppets in and near the little theaters. The kids had so much fun. The show was Rumplestiltskin. One lady did it all herself...different marionetts, voices, ect... The show lasted about an hour and Hope and Owen LOVED it. Emma was a bit too young I think. The theater was a sort of muesum with all sorts of puppets from all over the world. After the show we drove through Sonic to get a treat and came home to eat them. All in all it was a fun day. Enjoy the pics.
