Emma's Birthday Dinner @ Gunther Toody's

We like to take the kids out to dinner for their birthdays. Gunther Toody's is a 50's diner where kids eat free Monday nights...so the choice was easy. Fun music, good food and free kiddo dinners.
Me and my little Emma Bear...

Three sillies...

All the employees came over to sing for Emma...she was ready to get out on the floor with them and realized what was happening and promptly began to cry!

They sang anyway...and ended up liking it...a little bit!

Personalized hat...complete with a kiss...

On the way home we came down through City Park. Desi pulled into the golf course and drove us around it a bit. The view of downtown was beautiful...

love the downtown pic, could probably show that one in an art show in denver and people would love because it is capturing the city in such a beautiful way.
As for Gunther Toody's, that kids eat free thing fits in perfectly with what my dad always taught us by repeatedly saying "never turn down free food."

My dad's birthday is on the 18th (huh!) and we took him to a Mexican restaurant and he got to wear a hat and almost cried when they sang to him too. Emma is in good company. :)
